January always starts the year with a bang for UCO: We get to attend Outdoor Retailer and SHOT SHOW. The Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show, otherwise known as SHOT Show, is a four-day exhibition of the best and brightest new hunting and outdoor products. This year, we presented some of our best outdoor gear with our sister brands Morakniv and Light My Fire.

The hunting and fishing industry holds Morakniv in high esteem for their durable bushcraft knives, but this year, they took it to the next level when they debuted their first full tang knife, the Morakniv® Garberg. The Garberg’s 3.2 mm thick, 4.3″ long Swedish stainless steel blade runs throughout the entire handle with a pommel at the end of the rugged handle. The 90° spine of the blade has been ground especially for use with a fire starter as well, making it a multi-purpose survival tool.

UCO People ambassador Dave Canterbury, worldwide survival expert, was on hand to demonstrate survivalist techniques with this unique new product.
